Congress to hold a meeting of opposition leaders on December 10

Emboldened by the positive picture coming out of the exit polls, Congress will now be holding an all opposition party meeting in Delhi on December 10.

New Delhi| After the polling ended in five states, the outcomes of the exit polls on Friday evening came as a sigh of relief for the Congress. According to the exit polls of premier agencies, Congress is seen close to victory in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh. In Telangana, however, the gamble played by KCR seems to have paid off as many exit polls predict TRS forming the government in the state once again.

Emboldened by the positive picture coming out of the exit polls, Congress will now be holding an all opposition party meeting in Delhi on December 10. The leaders of 19 opposition parties are likely to participate in the meeting. TMC chief and West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee and DMK chief Stalin are also expected to attend the meet.

On December 11, the results of all the five assembly elections will be declared. The winter session of the parliament will also be starting from December 11. The Congress will try to surround the BJP-led central government with all the opposition parties.

According to sources, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief Chandrababu Naidu has also been invited to join the opposition parties in this meeting. However, whether he will be joining the meeting or not is not yet confirmed.
