“With the help of Rafale, we would have destroyed these terror camps from the Indian soil itself,” Rajnath Singh said referring to Balakot airstrike
Mumbai: On Monday Defence Minister and senior BJP leader Rajnath Singh campaigned for some of the BJP candidates in Mumbai and Thane. Rajnath Singh began the campaign in Goregaon West talking about Rafale jets. Rajnath Singh said that if we had Rafale jets during the Balakot airstrike then things would have been different.
Rajnath Singh said, “Rafale has the more capability to go on supersonic speed, that is, it travels faster than sound.”
Singh also said, “If only we had it beforehand, then I think our Air Force jawans would not have had to go all the way to Pakistan to destroy terror camps.”
“With the help of Rafale, we would have destroyed these terror camps from the Indian soil itself,” Rajnath Singh said referring Balakot airstrike.
Attacking Congress on Shastra Puja
Talking about the supersonic speed with the governance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Singh said, “BJP government is progressing at supersonic speed while the Congress and the NCP are going down completely in supersonic speed”.
Taking a jibe at the Congress party, Rajnath Singh said, “The supersonic speed at which the Rafale will go further, at that very speed Congress will go down.”
“Only me and the captain, who was from Paris, were there inside the plane. I wanted to experience the supersonic speed,” said Singh.
Further speaking media, Rajnath Singh spoke about the lemons put under the Rafale tires in France during the Shastra Puja.
“I am only following the tradition and culture of our India,” Rajnath Singh said.
In Mumbai, Kandivali, Rajnath Singh spoke about the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. He added that the issue had been on the agenda of the BJP during the Jan Sangh days and people mocked them whenever they spoke about it.
Rajnath Singh further highlighted on the Rafale deal and the allegations of corruption against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Rajnath Singh said, “I was a chief minister for 15 years term. Who will he be corrupt for? Wife? Children? But they still question me. Why doesn’t their tongue get paralyzed when they ask these questions.”
Speaking about CM Devendra Fadnavis
Appreciating Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Rajnath Singh said that he knows that Fadnavis would have a bright future when he first met him.
Rajnath Singh said “Whoever forms the government in Maharashtra, there is always some or the other allegation of corruption against some party. But against Fadnavis, there is no allegation,”.
