Is BJP’s Varun Gandhi Joining Rahul’s Bharat Jodo Yatra?

Bharat Jodo Yatra
The Bharat Jodo Yatra is currently in Delhi after which it will be in its last leg which will be concluded in Kashmir.

BJP MP Varun Gandhi, who has been quite critical of his party (BJP) has hinted at joining the Rahul Gandhi-led Bharat Jodo Yatra.

Avi Dandiya former  IFS officer (Indian Forest Services) on Saturday, tweeted a picture with Rahul Gandhi on one side of the image and Rahul on the other.

The text in the caption appealed to the BJP leader to join the foot march and Congress national general secretary and elder sister Priyanka Gandhi to be the mediator. Soon after the tweet, Varun Gandhi followed Avi Dandiya on the micro-blogging website.

After the follow back, the former IFS said if he has followed me, he would also surely give thought to my suggestion.

“To shorten the opponent’s line in politics, one has to increase self’s line. Bharat Jodo Yatra is drawing the line, if the younger brother reaches Kashmir then 2024 is surely going to be a hot battle and the opponent’s line is likely to shorten.”

“For the sake of India, the family should come together, forgetting the difference, and the eldest sister should take imitative and meditate.”

After which he tweeted a screenshot of getting a follow back from the BJP leader stating that “If he followed me then he would surely think on my suggestion.”

Film actress Pooja Bhat, former RBI governor Raghuram Rajan, and DMK leader kanimozhi, Actor/politician Kamal Hasan are some prominent personalities who joined the 3,550 Km padayatra.
The Bharat Jodo Yatra is currently in Delhi after which it will be in its last leg which will be concluded in Kashmir.
However, in 2019 Avi Dandiya was exposed by Alt News a fact-checking website for spreading misinformation concerning to Pulwama attack.
Dandiya had posted an ‘audio clip’ on March 1 2019 and claimed that the audio clip was a conversation between BJP president Amit Shah and Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, and the conversation purportedly was about killing Indian soldiers. Dandiya claimed that this audio clip was evidence that the Pulwama terror attack of February was an inside job.
Alt News, however, revealed that the audio clip presented by Dandiya was completely bogus and manufactured by lifting different portions of old interviews given by BJP leaders. Parts of these interviews were conjoined to make it seem that Defence minister Rajnath Singh Home minister and Amit Shah were discussing a ploy to kill Indian soldiers.
