#Watch: ‘Jai Shri Ram’ slogan raised during Asaduddin Owaisi’s oath in Lok Sabha

New Delhi | The 17th Lok Sabha begun on Monday and elected representatives from various constituencies are taking oath as the Member of Lok Sabha today.

In the same process, AIMIM MP from Hyderabad Asaduddin Owaisi was supposed to take the oath. However, as he walked towards the mic, slogans of ‘Jai Shri Ram’, ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and ‘Vande Mataram’, were raised before his oath.

Owaisi in a sarcastic gesture signaled the MPs raising the slogans to increase the volume. He then took his oath as Lok Sabha MP in Urdu and ended his oath with “Jai bheem, Jai Meem, Takbeer Allah hu Akbar, Jai Hind.”

Speaking too news agency on ‘Jai Sri Ram’ & ‘Vande Mataram’ slogans being raised during his oath Owaisi said,” It is good that they remember such things when they see me, I hope they will also remember the constitution and deaths of children in Muzaffarpur. Assaduddin Owaisi has reached the lower house of Parliament for the 4th time from Hyderabad in 2019
