Bengaluru | Union Parliamentary Affairs Pralhad Joshi slammed Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy for his remark and said that he has lost his mental balance.
On Wednesday, Kumaraswamy was on his way to Karegudda as part of his village visits programme when Yermarus Thermal Power Station employees protested in front of the bus he was travelling in and shouted slogans against him. They were protesting for the unfulfilled ‘promise’ of jobs in exchange for the land taken over for the power project.
Responding to the shouting people, Kumaraswamy ordered them to take their complaints to Prime Minister Modi instead.
“I will ask the police to conduct a lathi charge. You vote for Modi but expect me to solve your problems,” he told the employees”.
When asked by the reporters, Union Minister Pralhad Joshi said, “People didn’t vote for him (Karnataka CM HD Kumaraswamy) to be the CM. Why is he the CM? With an unhealthy alliance with Congress, he became the CM. Now, he has lost his mental balance, particularly because his son lost in the polls,” Prahlad Joshi said, as quoted by news agency ANI.
Pralhad Joshi is also a BJP MP from Dharwad in Karnataka.
