Kejriwal Announces 1 Crore For The Family of IB Staffer Killed In Delhi Violence

Ankit Sharma, who was working with the Intelligence Bureau (IB), was killed in the violence that took place in Delhi last week claiming more than 40 lives.

Delhi| Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has announced the help of Rs.1 Crore to the family of the IB staffer Ankit Sharma who was killed during the violence that took place in Delhi last week.

Ankit’s body was recovered from a drain in Delhi’s Jaffrabad, one of the most riot-affected areas in the national capital. Several marks of wounds were found on Ankit’s body.

Ankit Sharma’s Father, Ravinder Sharma, who’s also an employee of the Intelligence Bureau, accused AAP supporters of Tahir Hussain of killing Ankit.

26 years old Ankit was a Security Assistant with the intelligence bureau. He had gone missing on Tuesday. His family said that he was taken away by the violent mob when he was coming back from the work. His body was found the next day in a drain with multiple wounds. His family claimed that he was beaten and then shot.

Tahir Hussain is charged with murder and arson. Aam Aadmi Party suspended him of primary membership until he’s proven innocent.
