Bhopal | Madhya Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel on Tuesday passed a circular to all the state universities and colleges to observe International Yoga Day on June 21.
According to the circular, the educational institutions have been directed to send photographs of the preparations of the event, the names of the participating students and teachers and a CD of the function to the Raj Bhawan till 4 pm on Tuesday. All universities and colleges have also been ordered to hold seminars, competitions, debates and other events on International Yoga Day.
Governor of Madhya Pradesh directs all the universities of the state to send photos of the preparations of International Yoga Day. The university should also send the names of the students & teachers who will be participating in the event till 4 pm today.

West Bengal Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi had earlier issued a similar circular this month directing vice-chancellors of all state universities to observe International Yoga Day.
The United Nations General Assembly in 2014 unanimously declared the international day for yoga after accepting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s proposal.
