Mamata Banerjee wrote, “I am writing this letter to all the parties who are against the BJP. I am worried that the BJP central government is trying to end democracy.”
Tengua| West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has made a big move in the state before the second phase of voting. She has written a letter to all the anti-BJP parties and urged them to unite. In the letter, Mamata has written that the time has come when we should mobilize against the BJP to save democracy.
Parties to which Mamata has written letters include Congress (Sonia Gandhi), NCP (Sharad Pawar), DMK (MK Stalin), RJD (Tejashwi Yadav), Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray), Aam Aadmi Party (Arvind Kejriwal), BJD ( Naveen Patnaik) and YSR Congress (Jagan Reddy).
Mamata wrote, “I am writing this letter to all the parties who are against the BJP. I am worried that the BJP central government is trying to end democracy. The biggest example of this is the NCT bill passed against the Delhi government which is passed in both houses. The central government has taken away the power of an elected government and given it to the Lieutenant Governor.”

Highlights of Mamata’s letter
Following are the highlights of the letter written by Mamata Banerjee:
- In states where there is no BJP government, governors act like BJP workers.
- ED, CBI and other investigative agencies are pitted against leaders in those states.
- The central government is reluctant to give money to non-BJP ruled states.
- The Modi government wants to sell all government assets. This is a fraud with people.

Mamata Banerjee’s nephew and TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee said that Amit Shah always uses the word intruder in his speeches. They should tell who is responsible for it.
