Arun Shourie said the Central Bureau of Investigation report to Amit Shah, the BJP party president while Modi is busy clicking pictures.
In a sensational revelation made by the former Union Minister Arun Shourie, he said that investigative agencies like the Central Bureau of Investigation report to Amit Shah, the BJP party president while Modi is busy clicking pictures.
Coming hard onto the ruling government, while addressing the media personnel at the event of Rashtra Manch he said that while all this has been prevailing in the nation, the year 2019 is the opportunity to reverse the trend.
He also gave an earful to the opposition unity failure in the elections that were held for the deputy speaker position of the Rajya Sabha. He said, “On one hand you say the country is in danger while on the other hand, you say we didn’t receive a phone call”.
Arun Shourie: Many people are saying that media persons mein darr hai – fear of exposing wrongdoing by the government and business groups. But I think it’s लालच – that is, greed that is coming in the way, not fear. Get rid of greed for ads and profits. #SaveDemocracy

He further remarked as to how he had been dismissed on the cases he has faced in the past. He stated, “I have had many cases on me. And I have been dismissed thrice. But I am an example that there is life after dismissal.”
Also lashing out at the ruling government, Arun Shourie said, “72 lynching deaths have happened. 63 RTI activists have died. Witnesses in Sohrabuddin case have turned hostile. Many deaths have occurred in UP fake encounter. This is becoming new normal. We start adjusting to it. This is the end of the system.”
Advising the opposition, he stated, “Don’t be adamant on prestige. Don’t talk about each other. Talk to each other instead. The key is one to one contest.”
