New Delhi | Union Minister Ramdas Athawale took a dig at BSP Chief Mayawati and claimed that if she had been married, she would have known how to handle a husband.
Speaking to news agency ANI, the RPI(A) leader said,” Mayawati is making remarks about Modi Ji & his wife. She (Mayawati) is not married, she doesn’t know what a family is, had she been married she would have known how to handle a husband. We respect Mayawati, she should not make such statements”.
Earlier this week, Mayawati had hit out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and had said that all the BJP Neta’s women will be afraid that their husbands will abandon them like Modi left his wife.
Mayawati’s comments come in the wake of PM Modi’s allegation that Mayawati was crying “crocodile tears” when she demanded justice in the Alwar gang rape case.
On April 26, six miscreants accosted the woman and her husband on the Thanagazi-Alwar bypass in Rajasthan and took them to an isolated place, where they allegedly raped her in front of him.
