Mirwaiz complained of the social media platform Twitter that the separatists were not allowed any space for any kind of political activity.
Srinagar| Kashmiri separatist leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has been put under house arrest on Saturday, a police official said. The house arrest of Moderate Hurriyat Conference chairman comes at a time when his organization had called for a one-day session. However, the security agency officials said that it was a precautionary measure.
Following the house arrest, Mirwaiz complained of the social media platform Twitter that the separatists were not allowed any space for any kind of political activity. He also shared pictures of police officials stationed outside his residence and Hurriyat’s Rajbagh office.
