New Delhi | Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Majid Menon on Monday criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi attending the Dawoodi Bohra Community function in Indore on 14 September.
Speaking to media, the senior lawyer said the Prime Minister attended the event of Bohra Community with a motive to lure the muslim Community. He said,”Modi ji, Bohra samaj ke pass gaye iss vichaar se ki shayad musalmano ko rijhha liya jaayega, lekin na woh idhar ke rahenge na hi udhar ke. Dhobi ke kutte wali baat ho jati hai.”

PM Modi on 14 September addressed the Bohra community on Ashara Mubaraka, an annual gathering to remember and honour Prophet Mohammad and the martyrdom of his grandson Imam Husayn. PM Modi also praised the Dawoodi Bohra Muslim community for its contribution to the country.
Speaking at the event alongside Dawoodi Bhora head Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin, PM Modi said that the concept of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’, the world is one family, gives India an identity different from all other countries.
