New Delhi | Delhi Congress President Sheila Dikshit amid rumours of Congress forming an alliance with the Arvind Kejriwal led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) said that the party leadership is yet to discuss the possibility of an alliance with AAP.
Speaking to reporters before taking charge as the President of the Delhi unit of Congress, the former Chief Minister has termed both the BJP and AAP as challenges for the party. She said,” Politics is full of challenges, we will strategise accordingly. BJP and AAP both are a challenge; we will meet the challenges together. There is nothing on an alliance with AAP yet.”

Ahead of the Lok Sabha election, the Congress party on January 10 appointed Sheila Dikshit as the president of the Delhi unit after the resignation of Ajay Maken. According to rumours both AAP and Congress are working on a possibility of an alliance in the Lok Sabha election against BJP in Delhi. However, both the parties are yet to confirm about the alliance.
