New Delhi | Congress President Rahul Gandhi who is currently on a Kailash Mansarovar trip on Friday shared the latest images of his religious pilgrimage.

Rahul Gandhi who is on a 12-day Kailash Mansarovar pilgrimage is travelling with a group of 20 other pilgrims from Gujarat and two Special Protection Group commandos. Earlier in the morning, Rahul Gandhi who calls himself a Shiv Bhakt (Lord Shiva Devotee) shared a video of the trip on his twitter handle with a title, ‘Shiva is the Universe’.

Meanwhile, BJP leader and Union Minister Giriraj Singh raised questions over the images of Rahul Gandhi’s trip. Questioning the authenticity of the images of the trip, Singh said the image is Photoshopped, the reflection of the stick is missing.

Responding to the remarks the Congress clarified the rumours over the trip of its president. The Congress party tweeted, “Leaving all the haters behind, Congress President Rahul Gandhi sets the pace during his Kailash Yatra. Can you keep up?”

Rahul Gandhi decided to visit the religious Hindu pilgrim after he escaped an accident during the Karnataka assembly election when the aircraft in which he was travelling developed a technical snag mid-air and plunged several feet.
