“Not only the school has been burnt here, but the brotherhood and love of our country have also been lit. This violence has hurt Hindustan and Bharat Mata,” Rahul Gandhi said.
New Delhi| Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday visited Delhi’s violence-hit area. After seeing the school burnt in the Brijpuri area, he said – “No one benefits from violence. When there is violence in the capital of the country, the reputation of India around the world is hurt. Not only the school has been burnt here, but the brotherhood and love of our country have also been lit. This kind of violence has hurt Hindustan and Bharat Mata.”
Meanwhile, Congress leader K Suresh, when asked about the visit of the Congress leaders after so many days of violence, said that the Congress MPs had not yet visited the violence-hit areas. Parties like Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) and CPI had visited these areas, but Congress MPs had not come here yet. Therefore, we had a lot of pressure from our parliamentary constituency.
