New Delhi| Senior TV Journalist Deepak Chaurasia and his cameraman were attacked by some people at Shaheen Bagh where protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), has been going on for almost a month now. While the women who are protesting have been praised by some, others have complained about the traffic and roadblock due to the sit-in protest.
Chaurasia who was reporting from the spot was attacked and the attackers snatched the camera and broke it. The injured have been admitted to the hospital, where the cameraman is in critical condition.
A video of the incident has been uploaded by the journalist on his Twitter account, which states that those who make the voices of the people reach to the people of the country became victims of mob lynching. He has also lodged a complaint with the police.

South-East District DCP Chinmay Bishwal said that he had received a complaint about the incident. They are investigating the case.
Apparently, demonstrators were angry at the journalists for displaying the problems of traffic faced by the common people.
