Delhi| The protestors of Delhi’s Shaheen Bagh will march to Amit Shah’s residence on Sunday to present their demands. They will have a charter of their demands, mainly revocation of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).
This comes after Union Home Minister Amit Shah had expressed his willingness to talk to protestors about CAA. He had said that they can take an appointment if they want to discuss CAA with him.
However, sources from the home ministry have said that they have not received any request of appointment from the protestors.
There seems to be a divide between the protestors. While some are ready to go and meet Shah on his residence, others have demanded that Shah should visit Shaheen Bagh if he wants to have a dialogue.
