Etawah (Uttar Pradesh) | Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party-Lohia chief Shivpal Yadav on Saturday announced he will contest the Lok Sabha elections from Firozabad constituency.
Talking about his seat from Firozabad, he said, “If people of Firozabad want me to contest from here, then I will contest from Firozabad”.
Addressing a rally on the Republic Day, he took a dig at the recent alliance between BSP Chief Mayawati and SP chief Akhilesh Yadav by saying that neither I nor Mulayam Singh Yadav ever called her their sister, then how is Akhilesh calling Mayawati as his ‘bua’.
Further slamming Akhilesh, he said that how can we believe Akhilesh when he betrayed his father Mulayam Yadav along with me as well.
On the SP-BSP alliance, he further pointed out that Mayawati once called Samajwadi Party as ‘goons’ and Mulayam as ‘the leader of goons’.
Yadav further claimed that no government can be formed in Uttar Pradesh without the support of PSPL.
