Panchkula| Defence Minister Rajnath Singh today hinted at dialogue with Pakistan on the issue of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir i.e. PoK. He said, “If talks are to be held now with Pakistan, it will be about PoK.” His reaction comes in the light of neighbouring Pakistan raking the issue of Kashmir in the United Nations. Rajnath Singh was speaking at a rally in Haryana’s Panchkula.
“370 abolished so that development could take place in Jammu and Kashmir”
Talking about Modi govt’s decision to abrogate Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir and Bifurcate the state into two Union Territories, Rajnath said that it was done to bring development to the valley. He said, “Article 370 was abolished from Jammu and Kashmir so that development could be done there.” Pakistan has registered strong protest over India’s move.

Rajnath Singh said, “Our neighbours are knocking the doors of international institutions and have been saying that India has made a mistake. But talks with Pakistan will only happen when they stop supporting terrorism.”
“Pak accepted India conducted Balakot attack”
The defence minister further referred to Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan’s statement. Rajnath Singh said, “A few days ago the Prime Minister of Pakistan had said that India is preparing even bigger attack than the Balakot attack. This means that the PM of Pakistan has accepted India has conducted Balakot attack.”
