Kolkata | Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s rally at Phool Bagan in Kolkata cancelled.

BJP has claimed that the stage was broken down, and the decorator beaten. One of the three rallies has been cancelled.

BJP leader Rahul Sinha speaking to New Agency ANI about the cancellation of Rally said, “When stage was being set up yesterday, labourers working on it were beaten up & scared away; the stage was vandalised. The public meeting was scheduled for 2 pm today, stage couldn’t be repaired. So we had to cancel it.”

Tensions between BJP and TMC soared when the two parties got themselves involved in violence against each other, which lead to the vandalism of the 19th-century philosopher Ishwarchandra Vidyasagar.

Both the parties have blamed each other for the scuffle.
