Rajya Sabha poll war: Following Lok Sabha bypolls, it’s a neck to neck fight between Akhilesh Yadav and Yogi Adityanath

In developments that are pacing up steeply, Rakesh Pratap Singh the MLA of SP is throwing a dinner party in Lucknow today where he has invited all the MLAs of the party, quite clearly to check the house of the party is in good order.

A good quantum of drama seems to be pouring in between the 2 alliances of NDA led by BJP and SP-BSP backed by Congress with just 2 days left for the critical Rajya Sabha elections in the state, since they seem to be working day and night for the win of their additional candidate, trying to rustle the vying camps.

With Samajwadi Party winning the byelections with the support of BSP, it wants to reciprocate by making it a point that Bhimrao Ambedkar, the BSP candidate wins.

In developments that are pacing up steeply, Rakesh Pratap Singh the MLA of SP is throwing a dinner party in Lucknow today where he has invited all the MLAs of the party, quite clearly to check the house of the party is in good order. In the very same fashion, Yogi has made an invitation to all the MLAs of BJP at his official residence today to frame a strategy for defeating candidate of BSP who seemed to be backed up by all the parties that are anti-BJP.

On the other hand, Satish Chandra Mishra BSP national general secretary and MP of Rajya Sabha met the Election Commission in Delhi yesterday so as to make sure that the state government permit the two MLAs that are imprisoned Hari Om Yadav of SP and Mukhtar Ansari of BSP to vote on 23rd March.

In yet another development, Udaiveer Singh, MLC from SP met Hariom Yadav from Ferozabad in jail on Monday so as to complete all the formalities for his release during the Rajya Sabha elections. Earlier it was fretted that Hariom Yadav may change his loyalty, but as per the sources, he would not leave SP alone. It is to be noted that Hariom Yadav is quite a close kin to Mulayam Singh Yadav.
