Headlines: Oppn Agrees On Parliament Logjam Until Discussion On Delhi Violence

On Wednesday, as disruptions in Parliament continued for a third straight day, the Congress said Opposition parties had agreed not to let the legislature function until they were allowed to discuss last week’s communal riots in northeast Delhi.

“”Neither the prime minister nor the home minister is willing to give an answer. We have repeatedly called for a debate on the issue and after that we will allow the House to function normally,” said Syed Naseer Hussain, a Congress spokesperson.
