AIADMK government in Tamil Nadu likely to fall ?

The Supreme Court on Wednesday refused to transfer the case of the disqualification of 18 AIADMK MLAs from the Madras High Court to the apex court. A vacation bench comprising justices Arun Mishra and SK Kaul passed the order on a plea by these disqualified MLAs who were seeking transfer of their petition challenging their disqualification by the Tamil Nadu Assembly speaker from the Madras High Court to the apex court. But In all likelyhood, if the disqualification of these 18 MLAs is set aside, the political fortune of TTV Dinakaran will shoot up. He has already won the seat which fell vacant due to the demise of J Jayalalitha, thereby settling once and for all the issue of Amma’s political successor. A number of AIADMK MLAs are believed to be waiting in the wings to switch sides and got to TTV Dinakaran’s side. In such an event, the central government may also use the cases against him as a bargain chip and allow him to establish as a political force. Seems like the Tamil Nadu politics is all set for a radical change in the months to come soon.
