The election commission began counting their votes today to declare the results of the bypoll elections held on May 28th in 4 lok sabha and 10 assembly constituencies. According to the analysts, the bypoll results, especially in Uttar Pradesh’s Kairana lok sabha constituency, could set the tone for the upcoming 2019 general elections. In Kairana, 54 per cent turn out was recorded, while in Nagaland, the turnout was 70 per cent. Maharashtra’s Bhandara-Gondiya bypoll saw only 38.5 per cent voter turnout. And Palghar with 46 per cent polling was recorded. this recent lok sabha and assembly bypoll results were a preparation ground for the upcoming 2019 general election.
