Chandrayaan 2 to land on Moon’s south pole on Sept 7th


Chandrayaan-2, India’s second moon mission, was launched by ISRO from Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Andhra Pradesh today around 2.43 pm. The Chandrayaan-2 has been launched on board with ISRO’s most powerful launcher, the 640-tonne rocket, measuring 44 metres in height. The launcher of Chandrayaan-2 has also been given a nickname.
