Kannauj| Around 20 passengers are feared to be dead after fire broke out due to collision of private sleeper bus and a truck in Chiloi Village which comes under Chhibramau Police station, the police informed.
Kannauj Superintendent of Police Amrendra Prasad Singh informed that around 20 people are feared to be killed while 21 have been rushed to the hospital. He also went on to add that around 10-20 people out of injured 21 tried to jump out of bus through the window after bus caught fire. SP said that exact numbers of casualties will be reported later.
The 45 passengers were travelling to Jaipur from Farrukhabad whenthe said incident happened.
The police said that a DNA test will be conducted to identify the passengers and exact death count. “The bodies are badly burned, their bones are scattered, so only a DNA test will determine the death toll.
