Fake notes, back with a bang

In November 2016, when the Narendra Modi government announced demonetization of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes, one of the aims of it was said to be a decisive battle against the fake currencies which were in circulation. And after demonetisation was done, the centre has assured us said that the newly introduced Rs 500 and Rs 2000 notes were printed in such a manner that it was impossible to fake. But almost 3 years after Modi govt’s announcement of demonetization, the counterfeit mayhem is back. #Demonetization #FakeNotes #Rupee
