Mayawati is going soft on her ideological rival BJP, this is something that nobody would deny. Her snapping of ties with SP post the Lok Sabha debacle, or going after Congress, attacking the opposition, the signs were pretty much visible that the post-Lok Sabha defeat blues are forcing BSP to rethink its political strategy and lean towards the Saffron party. But even then there was no definite answer as to what the political move of Mayawati will be. Today, however, Mayawati herself has made it abundantly clear that to defeat her former alliance partner Samajwadi Party, she will even go to an extent of voting for BJP. Addressing a Press Conference she said, âAny party candidate, whoâll be dominant over SPâs 2nd candidate, will get all BSP MLAsâ vote for sure.â This was in reference to the upcoming Uttar Pradesh MLC and Rajya Sabha elections. In this video we discuss what future could Mayawati’s party have with the BJP?
