Kamal Hasan, founder and president of Makkal Needhi mayyam, has said that independent India’s first terrorist was a Hindu. He said that Nathuram Godse who killed Mahatma Gandhi in 1948 is the first terrorist in free India. Well, it has already snowballed into a controversy. Kamal Hasan was Addressing an election campaign at Aravakurichi in Tamil Nadu on Sunday night when he claimed that he was one of those “proud Indians” who desired an India with equality and where the “three colours” in the Tricolour “remained intact.”
The Aravakurichi is a Muslim dominated area, but Kamal Hasan said that he made the statement not because he is standing in a Muslim-dominated area. but because he is standing in front of a statue of Gandhi. “Free India’s first terrorist was a Hindu, his name is Nathuram Godse. this all started there.” #KamalHaasan #NathuramGodse #HinduTerrorism
