Priyanka Gandhi’s Ganga Yatra: Boat ride for the voter guide

Priyanka Gandhi-the General Secretary of Congress and In-charge of Eastern Uttar Pradesh and what we can best describe as Congress’ hope in Uttar Pradesh for revival after the SP-BSP alliance snubbed it, is on a three-day boat ride across the four parliamentary constituencies in the state. Today is the last day of her visit and she will be visiting Varanasi, the parliamentary constituency of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. If you remember in 2014, the election results of Varanasi were the testament of the Modi wave. Where The votes polled by the three runner-ups could not even go closer to the votes polled by PM Modi. Thus, Varanasi is the stronghold of the BJP. Now, Priyanka Gandhi is looked at as the ideal campaigner of Congress in this region because often she is equated with her grandmother and former Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi. Several appeals have reportedly been made to her that she should contest against Modi in Varanasi. In this backdrop, the boat ride comes as a Voter guide for Congress.
In this show today we will show you the boat ride campaign of Priyanka Gandhi so far and what response it received along with the analysis of these four constituencies the Congress General Secretary is trying to tap on.
