The unprecedented violence that unfolded on Republic Day has led to a quiet at Singhu, Tikri and Ghazipur border where farmers from Punjab, Haryana and many other parts of the country have been protesting for the past 2 months against Centre’s three agricultural laws. In the violence that broke out, 394 police personnel have been injured, Delhi Police commissioner told the media on Wednesday. One farmer also lost his life. the police is now investigating the violence. As many as 25 FIRs have been filed in this regard. Thirty-seven farm union leaders, including six spokespersons of the Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM), have been named in an FIR registered at the Samaypur Badli police station, in Outer Delhi, based on a complaint filed by Inspector Anil Kumar.
