Days after comparing Sanatana Dharma with dengue and malaria, Udhayanidhi Stalin has once again grabbed attention after he posted a picture of mosquito coil on his X handle, without any caption, leaving the speculations about its meaning open to the public. The picture of burning mosquito coil has sparked a controversy among the political parties. The post has been appearing to the public that Udhayanidhi is continuing to rake up the Sanatan Dharma. The post by Udhaya comes hours ahead of BJP’s protest led by BJP state president K Annamalai. The protest organised by BJP will be held across Tamil Nadu against Stalin. The protest will also demand that the offices of Hindu Charitable Department be blocked in all the districts of Tamil Nadu. The BJP has been trying to seek an apology by Udhayanidhi, but this latest tweet by the DMK leader Udhayanidhi appears to the public that it is an indirect way of Udhayanidhi saying that he stands by what he said on Sanatan Dharma. In response to Udhayanidhi’s post, Tamil Nadu BJP leader Vinoj P Selvam said, “DMK has always been an anti-Hindu party and they continue to be the same. Only during elections, the leaders of this party throng to the temples and post photos and videos, otherwise throughout the time they are in power, they always involve themselves in the minority appeasement.”” Selvam further said, “”DMK believes attacking the majority community of the country, putting them down and insulting them just because Hindus are tolerant and have been taught by the religion to stay tolerant, they take advantage of the factor and forgetting minority votes of the state. They have been attacking Hindus and it is not new.” Further, the AIADMK spokesperson Kovai Sathyan reacted to the latest post of Udhayanidhi and said that, “”It is in the DNA of DMK to attack the beliefs and sentiments of the majority. Udhayanidhi is following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather.”” According to reports, Udhayanidhi had recently made another comparison, this time of the saffron party with a ‘poisonous snake’. He reportedly made this remark at a wedding function of DMK MLA Sabha Rajendran where he also took a dig at the opposition AIADMK and called it a ‘garbage that shelters snakes’. Udhayanidhi had stated that “If a poisonous snake enters your home, it will not be enough to just throw it away because it may hide in the rubbish near your home. Unless you clear the bushes, the snake will keep returning to your home.
