Houses Of Two Terrorists Involved In Pahalgam Attack Demolished

The two were related to the terrorist organisation, Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT)

The houses of two terrorists believed to be involved in the Pahalgam attack were destroyed by security forces and J&K authorities on Thursday evening. While the residence of Lashkar terrorist Adil Hussain Thoker in Bijbehara was blown up using IEDs, the house of Asif Sheikh in Tral was demolished with a bulldozer. The two were among the attackers involved in the recent terror attack in the Baisaran valley in Pahalgam.

According to sources, there were explosives inside their houses.

One of the main suspects in Tuesday’s Pahalgam massacre is Thoker, a native of the Anantnag district, while Sheikh, a Pulwama resident, is thought to have been involved in the attack plot.

Adil Thoker is believed to have played a key role in helping the Pakistani terrorists plan and carry out the attack in the scenic Baisaran Valley. Thoker travelled to Pakistan in 2018 along the Attari-Wagah border in Punjab and received training in terror camps before infiltrating back into Jammu and Kashmir sometime last year.

Musa and Ali have been active in the valley for almost two years now, police said.

On Thursday, the Anantnag Police published sketches of Thoker and two other terrorists they believe were involved in the Pahalgam attack. The police claimed that the other two suspects were citizens of Pakistan and offered a reward of Rs 20 lakh for reliable information that could result in their capture.

The other two suspects are Hashim Musa, also known as Suleman, and Ali Bhai, also known as Talha Bhai, according to the police notices posted on X. They are also thought to be affiliated with Lashkar-e-Taiba, a terrorist organization based in Pakistan.

25 Indians and one Nepali were killed in the attack, which happened in Baisaran in Pahalgam, which has been dubbed “mini Switzerland”.

This is one of the deadliest attacks on civilians in the area in Baisaran Meadow, which is a popular tourist destination known for its breathtaking views of the Himalayas and the Valley’s distinctive pine forests.
