Is BJP Too Powerful To Be Questioned?

Remember Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh?

The same Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh against whom some of India’s top women wrestlers came out publicly with allegations of sexual harassment and molestation. These were not anonymous social media whispers. These were national athletes. Women who carried India’s flag on the world stage. Women who sat on the streets demanding justice.

What happened in the end?

Nothing that truly reassured the country that power can be questioned.

Remember Hardeep Puri?

A Union Minister of the BJP government. His name reportedly appeared in Epstein related emails and exchanges that raised serious public questions. Yet in India, there was no national outrage, no serious political discomfort, no visible accountability. The system simply moved on as if citizens are not even expected to ask questions anymore.

Remember the NEET controversy under Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan?

Now repeated controversies around CBSE too.

India’s Prime Minister rarely faces open press conferences where unscripted questions are asked freely. Ministers avoid difficult questions. Institutions increasingly appear hesitant. Critics are labelled enemies. Questions are treated like crimes.

That is not confidence. That is political arrogance.

And what is even more surprising is this confidence with which the BJP operates today. A confidence that suggests they genuinely believe that no matter what controversy emerges, no matter how angry people become, no matter how many questions remain unanswered, elections will still be won.

Why?

Think about it carefully.
