Kanhaiya to Parth Pawar: India ranks ‘low’ in youth representation in Parliament

It was once said that the youth in the country does not care about politics. In the last decade, this surely has changed. Today, Indian youth is opinionated, politically aware and a significant voter community which the political parties cannot afford to exclude from their narrative. take for example PM Modi’s 2014 campaign which found most support among the youth. Well, though youths are the major target in most political parties manifestos and campaigns, on the contrary, they are quite under-represented in the position of political leadership in our parliament. There are very few youth leaders in the Lok Sabha, on top of that expect the dynasty heirs to occupy the most slots. #kanhaiyakumar #loksabha #election2019 #parthpawar #tejaswisurya
