In the meantime, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah expressed concern over the detention of Kashmiris. He emphasized that innocent individuals should not be ensnared in the efforts to apprehend the Pahalgam attackers.
“It should not appear as if we are targeting the entire population of Jammu and Kashmir just to catch a few individuals. Steps must be taken wisely and responsibly,” Abdullah said.
