The former CPM leader further said ” Marx had said question everything so an ecosystem to question cannot be made like this” the former CPM leader said.

Former CPM leader Kavita Krishnan, in interaction with BBC, said the CPM troll army mirrors the Sangh(RSS) troll army.

Senior CPI-ML-Liberation leader Kavita Krishnan on Friday resigned from all party posts, citing some “troubling political questions” which she said were “not possible to explore” as a party leader. After stepping down the CPIM leader was trolled by a lot of party supporters.

The women’s rights activist when asked about her trolling after parting ways with the party, she said,  “Trolling was done by a particular group of the CPM, from Bengal and Kerala and these people trolled me from a long time.”

” If someone from the left questions the left, these people become very aggressive and they are afraid of confronting my questions,” she added.

She further said, “If they engage with my arguments, they might even agree to a couple of points, to prevent that they call me Nato agent, CIA agent, etc.”

“This is a troll army and their behavior is a mirror image of the Sangh(RSS),” she said.

” Most of their attacks are on women, there is a kind of sexist tone to their dialogue, they often indulge in personal attacks and are blind followers.”

The former CPM leader further said ” Marx had said question everything so an ecosystem to question cannot be made like this” the former CPM leader said.

Krishnan has been a leading Left activist, particularly for gender rights, since the 1990s. She became a prominent face of the widespread protests that swept the country in the aftermath of the 2012 Nirbhaya gangrape murder in Delhi, and she has since played an important role in shaping the discourse on women’s rights and safety.
