Ayodhya: Where on one hand Ram Mandir is under construction at Ayodhya on the other hand a Yogi fan has built a temple of CM Yogi Adityanath. A shrine has been dedicated to CM. From the looks, it is easy to make out that CM has been elevated to the status of God.

The temple is located near the Ayodhya-Gorakhpur highway at Bharatkund. Bharatkund is the same place where during the exile of Shri Ram, his brother Bharat took over the reign of Ayodhya for 14 years by placing him on his Khandau throne. The CM appears to be shown in images from the temple in Bharatkund as what can only be referred to as a “incarnation of Lord Ram.”

This temple of CM Yogi has been built by Prabhakar Maurya. Speaking with Dainik Bhaskar Prabhakar said that he had pledged in 2015 to worship “the one who builds the Ram temple” in Ayodhya.

“A few years later, the Supreme Court announced its verdict on the Ram temple. Now a grand Ram temple is being constructed in Ayodhya. On fulfillment of the resolution, I have built the Yogi temple,” he said.

An estimated cost of constructing the temple goes up around Rs 8.5 lakh. The idol installed in the shrine was custom-ordered from Rajasthan.

Yogi Adityanath is not the first BJP leader whose temple has been built. On Independence Day last year, a BJP worker in Pune unveiled a temple he built to worship Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Meanwhile, the construction work of building Ram Mandir in Ayodhya is on in full force. Devotees will be welcomed to seek the blessings of lord Ram from December 2023. “The construction work of the temple is progressing according to the plan and by December 2023 devotees will have the opportunity of offering prayers to Lord Shri Ram,” according to a statement issued on Tuesday by the office of Nripendra Misra, chairman of the construction committee.
