This has led to many controversies. This ad was published on 13 October. In the ad, the three are addressed as ‘Meet the officials who made India an unsafe place for investment’.
The advertisement published in the Wall Street Journal has sought a ban on Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Supreme Court judges, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and other officials involved in the Devas-Antrix case as wanted.
In this advertisement, 11 people have been demanded to be banned and the title of the advertisement has been given ‘Modi’s Magnitsky 11’. Under the 2016 Global Magnitsky Law of the US government, foreign government officials who have committed human rights violations are banned.
