Mumbai : Maharashtra BJP President Chandrakant Patil on Sunday asked NCP Spokesperson Nawab Malik to stop issuing threats about the exposure he is going to make during the winter session of the state legislature.
Malik has raised a series of allegations against the NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede. He had accused him of playing into the hands of the BJP.
He calls the raid conducted by the NCB at the Cruise Ship earlier this month in which Aryan Khan is accused along with others, as fake.
“Malik can say whatever he wants to. Who has stopped you? He should stop giving threats,” Patil told reporters.
Since quite a long time Nawab Malik has been slamming Narcotics Control Bureau’s Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede for framing people in cases. He also alleged that he and his people plant drugs.
He leveled another allegation of extortion by Wankhede family. He said that at least Rs. 1,000 crore has been extorted in Mumbai and Maldives from Bollywood personalities.
Nawab Malik had raised an objection to the investigation style of Wankhede. After a witness alleged payoffs in the case, putting Wankhede at the centre of bribery claims, Malik alleged the top NCB officer “did not follow proper rules in 26 cases”
He also claimed that there is no clearance or approval from the end of Maharashtra Government for party at cruise during these covid times. He also stated that he has no issues with NCB, but he has objections against extortioners working in the team.

Union minister Ramdas Athawale on Sunday extended his support to Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) zonal director Sameer Wankhede, who has been leading the probe in the drugs-on-cruise case in which Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan is also facing trial.
Athawale, who is also the Republican Party of India (A) president, claimed Nawab Malik was “conspiring to defame” the officer and his family, even as he urged the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) to stop doing so, reported news agency ANI. Recently, Malik accused Wankhede of using forged documents to obtain a government job under the Scheduled Caste (SC) category. According to the Maharashtra minister, Wankhede is a Muslim.
Sameer Wankhede has been under attack from Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik, who has levelled several charges against the NCB official.
