Man writes letter to Sony Max over the repeated telecasting of Amitabh Bachchan’s film Sooryavansham that was released in 1999
New Delhi: “I humbly request that your channel has acquired the rights to air the film Sooryavansham and through your kindness, I and my family have become well-acquainted with Heera Thakur and his family. I would like to know how many times your channel has aired this film so far, and how many times it will be aired in the future,â the man wrote in his letter.
An individual wrote a hilarious letter to Sony Max regarding their monotonous telecasting of the popular Amitabh Bachchan starred film Sooryavansham. This family drama film has become a popular subject for memes. Despite its popularity this individual has grown intolerant to this movie, primarily because of its repetitive telecasting on Sony Max.

The individual in his letter has chalked out some pressed question; “If the repeated airing of the film has any negative impact on our mental health, who should be held responsible?”
The letter was uploaded on Twitter and Instagram and soon after it followed a chain of memes and retweets.
One Twitter user took a swipe at the channel, saying it had acquired the rights to the movie 99 years and it will haunt people for years to come.
Another individual commented stating, âI can totally relate with you.â Yet another said, âThis can happen only in India.â
