“You’ve Decided It’s My Last Season, Not Me”: MS Dhoni

A sight of relief for Ms. Dhoni fans as Chennai Super Kings skipper MS Dhoni cleared the air regarding his retirement talks with a befitting reply to Danny Morrison at the toss before the game against Lucknow Super Giants at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. The former Indian skipper quirked that he never said it would be his last season.

When Morrison asked Dhoni about IPL 2023 being his last season in the competition, the CSK skipper quashed those rumors stating he never said it would be his final season.

“You’ve decided it is my last IPL, Not me.” Ms. Dhoni said. In 2020 Similarly, Danny Morrison had in 2020 asked Ms. Dhoni whether it is going to be his last season. To which Ms Dhoni replied, “Definitely not.”
