Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said on Monday that India is gearing up to become a global semiconductor hub. “Today, it is very clear worldwide that India will be the next big destination for semiconductors. Currently, all companies have viewed India differently, and three months ago, a memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed between India and America in the Semiconductor Corporation,” said the Union Minister. He further added, “As a result, during the Prime Minister’s visit to America, three major agreements concerning semiconductors were signed.”
