Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) declared Bhajan Lal Sharma as the new Chief Minister of Rajasthan. Emerging victorious in the Sanganer assembly seat elections with a substantial margin of over 1,45,000 votes, Sharma defeated Congress candidate Pushpendra Bhardwaj. BJP’s Vasundhara Raje, a contender for the position, announced Sharma’s appointment.
