Devendra Fadnavis was appointed as the BJP in-charge for Bihar elections last month. Bihar elections are to be held in three phases from 28 October and results will be announced on 10 November.
Earlier on Thursday, Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Sushil Kumar Modi tested positive for the novel coronavirus. He has been admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Patna, according to reports.
This comes at a time when the politics in the state is heating up in a lead up to assembly polls and campaigning for the same.
