J&K Terror Incidents Down 81% Since 2018: MHA

Terrorist-initiated incidents in J&K decreased significantly, marking an 81% drop from 228 in 2018 to 43 in 2023 (until November 30), post the Article 370 abrogation. Encounters also saw a 74% decline from 189 to 48. MoS Home Affairs Nityanand Rai highlighted reduced civilian killings (55 to 13) and lower security forces fatalities (91 to 25) in his Tuesday response in the Lok Sabha.
