“The drug bust by NCB off Mumbai coast, that saw arrest of some high profile persons including Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan has now turned into a full blown political war between the Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik and officer Sameer Wankhede. In Fact, for the last two weeks, Malik had been asking tough questions to NCB Mumbai chief over the cruise drug bust case, whereas NCB is struggling to counter these allegations. Although Nawab Malik’s bombshell Press conferences have forced the NCB to come out with a clarification, Sameer Wankhede personally has failed to provide satisfactory answers to the questions asked by Nawab Malik. However, the war of words between the NCP and NCB has now taken a serious turn with Nawab Malik vowing to put NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede Behind bars. Speaking at a party workers meeting in Maval taluka of Pune district, Malik said he won’t stop until he puts the official in jail. He levelled several allegations against Wankhede, including running an extortion racket in cahoots with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Accusing Wankhede of filing false cases against celebrities, Malik warned that the NCB official will lose his job within a year. On the other hand, Sameer Wankhede defended himself. He said that Malik has been mounting personal attacks against him and his family but he will continue doing his job in the interest of the nation. Wankhede said, “My best wishes are with him. I am a junior government official. They are big ministers. If they want to put me in jail for removing drugs, I welcome him.” With every passing day, the NCP vs NCB feud is deepening, so what’s with the growing war between Nawab Malik and Sameer Wankhede, let’s understand in this video today.
