Nashville| The second Presidential Debate between US President Donald Trump and Democratic candidate Joe Biden took place today. The debate topics ranged from Climate change to racism and immigration policies. Retorting to Joe Biden over his accusation that Trump administration isn’t taking Climate Change seriously, the US President pointed fingers at India, China and Russia.
Trump called India and its air “filthy”. When questioned on Climate Change, he reiterated that the action on the global issue was unfair to United States. He said, “Look at China, how filthy it is. Look at Russia, look at India — it’s filthy. The air is filthy.”
Biden on the other hand warned that we are going to pass the “point of no return” in next 10 years. He said that Climate change is an existential threat to humanity. “We have a moral obligation to deal with it, ” Biden said.
Donald Trump has pulled the US out of Paris Climate Accord in which the world leaders aimed to cap global warming below 2° Celsius.
