Israel’s Supreme Court has struck down a controversial judicial reform that removed one of the tools the Supreme Court has for quashing government and ministersā decisions. This triggered nationwide protests last year against the Netanyahu government. The law, passed in July, took away the courtās ability to void decisions that it deemed āunreasonableā. On Monday,Ā eight of 15 justices ruled in favour of nullifying the law.
