On Friday, EAM S Jaishankar announced India’s plans to provide a financial assistance package ₹1,000 crore or $75 million to Nepal. The package comes in aid for rebuilding infrastructure damaged by an earthquake that hit western Nepal in November 2023. This package additionally included reconstruction projects for 25 schools, 32 health projects and a cultural heritage project.
